This is a project of mine from 10 years ago under the alias “Music For Sleeping”, when I first moved to Bristol. It’s a collection of abstract electronic music and experimental meanderings. Some of the tracks were written whist living in West Wales, collected from old DAT and cassette tapes, while the rest were concocted in Bristol. I used a variety of sound sources for the project ranging from pitched-down wind chimes to cut up samples of tracks from “Music To Watch Girls By“.
One of the tracks was used for a short film by Anakissed called “Distance Over Time“, while others were used for a locative based exhibition by photographer Liz Milner called “A Walk in the Woods“.It’s very rough and badly mastered by today’s standards, but you get the vibe of it…and it’s bound to send you to sleep
