Crowd Surfing in St. Petersburg
In May 2009 I was invited to Russia by PoWeR to play in Moscow and St. Petersburg with Gromov and crew. It was an awesome weekend and I was very well looked after! As well as the great hospitality I was struck by the number of female DJs and VJs at both of the gigs. I counted 4 in total, which is unheard of in the UK! This goes to show that breakcore is not just a man’s domain…ha!

Whoever said they didn’t like Mondays (I think it was The Boomtown Rats) has got it all wrong. Here is a simple recipe to make any Monday special. All you need are the following ingredients:

- Cook your girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/self a nice meal (I made Spaghetti alla carbonara) with some wine (I prefer Prosecco, plus a few shots of Vodka with Energy Drink).
- Watch an episode of Dollhouse.
- Play Hudson Mohawke’s mix in Winamp with the Milkdrop2 visualisations turned on.
- Sit back, relax, kiss, cuddle and chat about some cool stuff.

I recently made a soundtrack and sound effects for a new Playstation 3 game called Savage Moon. It’s a tower defence strategy game available in Europe and USA on the PSN (Playstation Sony Network) download shop. Savage Moon is not currently available in Japan, so I decided to ask a few friends from Japan (Fourgram, Himiru Yoshiteru, Freezer and Unuramenura) to remix the soundtrack in the hope that people there might like it enough to want to play the game.
