This project with Hewlett Packard Labs Bristol was an experiment in tying context-sensitive audio clips to the viewing user in a traditional exhibition space. The installation took place in January 2002 and featured 24 striking photographs of a nearby woodland by artist Liz Milner augmented with a location sensitive digital soundscape created in collaboration with musician Armin Elsaesser. The project used context-sensitive hardware and wearable technologies under development by HP Labs Bristol and Bristol University Wearable Computing as part of the Mobile Bristol project.
